This 3-day preceptorship program is open to participation from headache specialists and general neurologists with an interest in migraine. The program will be held onsite at the Migraine Adaptive Brain Center at Hospital Vall d’Hebron in Barcelona.

The program is part of an overarching preceptorship initiative developed through the collaboration between Medscape and Migraine Centers of Excellence in Europe. The objective is to educate clinicians on the optimal management of migraine by improving their ability to assess and manage migraine, recognize its impact on patient functioning, and appropriately select treatments based on the mechanism of action, efficacy, and safety profile of available and emerging treatments. This immersive training experience at the headache center of excellence will be provided in Spanish with some material in English and will also cover:

• Use of new therapeutic strategies: acute and preventive approaches to migraine
• Day hospital care for headache
• Multidisciplinary perspective: pharmacy, nurse, neurologists, primary care
• Managing patient expectations
• Measuring impact of therapies
